Who We Are?

The SafeRoads Alliance for Transport and Mobility (SATM) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving road safety and mobility across Cameroon and beyond. With over a decade of experience, we work through education, research, advocacy, and strategic partnerships to reduce road accidents and promote safer transport systems for all.

Our Mission

To improve road safety by raising awareness, influencing policy, and empowering road users with the knowledge and tools needed to prevent accidents and save lives.

A future where road crashes are drastically reduced and everyone has access to safe, sustainable, and efficient transportation systems.

Meet the Vision Behind SATM

Apongnwu Wilson Awamachi

Apongnwu Wilson Awamachi is a civil engineer and transport planning expert with over 16 years of experience in the construction industry. Driven by a passion for safer roads and sustainable mobility, he founded SATM to address the growing road safety challenges in Cameroon. His vision is a future where road safety is a priority and every individual has access to safe and efficient transportation.
